Dr. La Tonya Powers is a transformational leader whose life and work embody resilience, restoration, and radical empowerment. Her journey—from silent suffering to global impact—has equipped her with a profound ability to guide others through healing and into purpose.
Marked by early trauma, depression, and the weight of hidden battles, Dr. Powers endured seasons of heartbreak, abuse, and emotional collapse. Yet through unwavering faith, prayer, and a divine calling, she emerged not only whole but empowered. Her story is one of triumph: from surviving molestation and suicidal thoughts to overcoming failed marriages and debilitating panic attacks. In her darkest hour—divorcing while raising her son—she experienced a complete breakdown. But it was in that valley that her purpose was reignited.
A pivotal moment came when she was invited to speak at her first conference. That spark became a flame that has never gone out. Since then, Dr. Powers has earned a Doctorate in Theological Studies from Worldwide Bethel Bible Institute (2007), followed by an honorary Doctorate from St. Thomas Christian University (2014). Her credentials include Master Life Coach certification and extensive training in business strategy, NLP, CBT, PTSD, Shoplifting Rehab, Diversion recovery, leadership development, and spiritual coaching.
