Dr. La Tonya Powers is a transformational leader whose life and work exemplify resilience, restoration, and radical empowerment. Her journey from silent suffering to global influence has equipped her with a profound ability to guide individuals through healing and into purpose.
Having endured seasons of trauma, depression, and emotional collapse, Dr. Powers overcame heartbreak, abuse, and debilitating challenges through unwavering faith, prayer, and divine calling. Her testimony is one of triumph: from surviving molestation and suicidal thoughts to navigating failed marriages and panic attacks. In her darkest valley, divorcing while raising her son, her purpose was reignited, propelling her into a life of impact and service.
A defining moment came when she was invited to speak at her first conference. That spark ignited a lifelong mission to inspire and empower. Since then, Dr. Powers has earned a Doctor of Theological Studies from The Worldwide Bethel Bible Institute (2007) and an honorary Doctor of Theology from St. Thomas Christian University (2014). She is a certified Master Life Coach with extensive training in business strategy, NLP, CBT, PTSD recovery, diversion programs, leadership development, and spiritual coaching.
Her passion for lifelong learning is matched by her commitment to helping others heal, grow, and thrive.
